Crock Pot Pulled Pork BBQ Sliders


This recipe was really good and while I did not make it, my boyfriend did props to him. It took him 10 min to set everything up and then just left it in the crock pot to do its thing. I set mine up as sliders, but he had it as a pulled pork sandwich. You can use your favorite BBQ to slather it all over or make your own like he did. I recommend this to anyone who is working all day and doesn’t want to spend so much time in the kitchen after a long day. 


Ingredients: 
3-4 Lbs. of Pork Shoulder/Boston Butt
16 oz. Dr. Pepper or Coca Cola
Fresh Cracked Black Pepper, to taste
Barbeque Sauce to your liking
Slider Buns
Coleslaw (optional)

Instructions: 
Season the pork with pepper on all slides. 


In a hot skillet, over medium high sear the pork shoulder on all sides, about 2 minutes per sides. 


Add pork shoulder and Dr. Pepper or Coca Cola to crock pot and cook on high for 4 hours or low for 7 hours. 


When pork shoulder is ready, drain most of the liquid and use tongs to shred the pork. Now you have the option of adding the BBQ sauce to the crock pot and mixing it in with the pork or add the BBQ as a topping when setting up the sliders. 


Serve pulled pork on the buns, add BBQ sauce and top some coleslaw and enjoy!
