Blueberry Tart

  • 1 1/4 cup all purpose flour

  • 1/3 cup sugar

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter

  • 2 eggs yoeks

  • 4 cups fresh blueberries

  • 2 teaspoon finely grated lemon test

  • 1 teaspoon lemon juices

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg


  1. Preheat oven to 375 degree F.

  2. In a bowl, combine flour, 2 tablespoon sugar, salt, butter, until crumbly and egg yolk place the dough to a inch tart pan, lightly greased.

  3. In a medium bowl, combine 2 1/2 cup of smashed blueberries,the lemon test, lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, tablespoon flour and 1/3 cup sugar.

  4. spread the mixture everly on the crust and sprinkle the remaining 1 cup whole blueberries.

  5. Bake for about 40 minutes for until the crust is browned and filing in bubbling vigorously.

  6. Remove from the oven and top it with the remaining blueberries.Cool on a wire rack. Store in the refrigerator.
