Chicken momos

INGREDIENTS

  • 300g chicken boneless

  • 1 medium onions

  • salt to taste

  • 1/2 tbs crushed black pepper

  • 1 and 1/2 tbs soy sauce

  • 1 tbs cornflour

  • 2 tbs water

  • 1 and 1/2 tbs chopped garlic

  • 1/4 cup chopped green onion

  • 1/2 tbs cooking oil

  • 3 cups sifted all purpose flour

  • 1 cup water or as required

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a chopper, add chicken, onion, salt, black pepper crushed, soy sauce, cornflour and chop well. Add water and chop again.

  2. Take a bowl, add the chopped mixture to it.

  3. Add garlic, green onion, cooking oil, mix well and set aside.

  4. Take another bowl, add all purpose flour, salt and cooking oil and mix well until it crumbles.

  5. Add water and knead until hard dough is formed.

  6. Cover and let it rest for 15 minutes

  7. Knead the dough again until smooth. cover it with the cling film and let it rest for 10 minutes.

  8. Knead the dough again and divide into four equal parts.

  9. Take one part and roll out into a round shape approx 3 inch with the help of rolling pin and board.

  10. To th round shape dough, add chicken mince filling at the center, apply water and bring the edges together, press and seal to make a momo.

  11. With the remaining rolled dough repeat the same step

  12. Take a steam pot, add water ,steam rack, cover and bring it to boil, grease steam rack with cooking oil, place prepared momos and cover.

  13. For 12- 15 minutes steam wok on medium flame.
