Chicken noodle soup

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups chicken broth

  • 1/2 cup vegetable broth

  • 250 g chicken breast chopped and cooked.

  • 1 1/2 cups noodles

  • 1 tbs butter

  • 1/2 cup chopped onions

  • 1/2 cup chopped celery

  • 1 cup sliced carrot

  • 1/2 tsp dried basil

  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano

  • salt to taste

  • 1/4 tsp pepper

DIRECTIONS

  1. Take a large pot, on medium heat, melt butter.

  2. Add onion and celery to it. Cook until tender, for almost 5 minutes.

  3. Pour in chicken and vegetable broth.

  4. Add chicken and mix well

  5. Add noodles, carrots, basil , oregano, salt, pepper and mix well.

  6. Bring to a boil.

  7. Reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes before serving.
