Chocolate cake without oven

INGREDIENTS

  • one cup all purpose flour ( maida )

  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • 4 tbs oil

  • 1 and 1/8 cups caster sugar

  • 1 egg

  • 1/2 cup milk

  • 1/2 hot water

  • 1 tsp vanilla essence

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a large bowl place a sifter. Add all purpose flour, cocoa powder , salt, baking powder and baking soda. Sift together all the ingredients and mix well.

  2. Add caster sugar and mix well.

  3. Add vanilla essence

  4. Add hot water and mix well

  5. Take a 9" inch baking pan, place a butter paper and grease it with oil.

  6. Pour the bather into the greased baking pan and set aside.

  7. For baking, take a large pot, add 1 pack of salt, place wire rack ( 2-3 inches high ) cover and preheat on high flame for 15 minutes.

  8. Place the baking pan in the pot and cover it.

  9. Bake on medium flame for 1 hour.

  10. Once cooked let the cake cool down on wire rack and refrigerate.
