INGREDIENTS

  • ¼ cup rice (soaked for 20 mins)

  • 1 liter milk

  • ½ cup sugar

  • 1/4 tsp elaichi powder ( cardamom powder)

  • 2 tbs almonds ( blanched & chopped)

  • 3 tbs pistachio ( blanched & chopped)

  • 50 gms khoa

  • 1/2 tsp kewra water

DIRECTIONS

  1. Soak the rice in enough water for about 20 mins. Once soaked, drain the rice using a colander and set aside.

  2. In pot, add milk and bring it to boil. Add the soaked rice to it and let it cook for 8-10 minutes, keep stirring in between.

  3. Add sugar, cardamom powder, mix well. Cook on low flame for 10-15 minutes or until rice are cooked and keep stirring in between.

  4. Add almonds, pistachio and khoa and mix well.

  5. In the end, add kewra essence and give it a good mix. Serve
