Pancakes

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 egg

  • 6 tbsps. sugar

  • 250 ml. milk

  • 250 ml. flour

  • 1 tbsps. baking powder

  • 3 tbsps. butter

  • butter or ghee for greasing

For serving

  • 100 gms. butter

  • 6 tbsps. honey

  • or butter and jam

  • or butter and chocolate sauce

  • or butter and mapple syrup

DIRECTIONS

  1. Beat egg and sugar till light and fluffy. Gradually pour in milk and beat for 1 min.

  2. Fold in flour and baking powder.

  3. Melt butter and fold into flour mixture.

  4. Melt butter or ghee. Dip in a piece of cloth or cotton for greasing the frying pan. Heat heavy bottom fry pan, preferably a non stick pan over medium heat.

  5. Grease lightly with cloth or cotton (always squeeze out cloth or cotton and grease).

  6. Pour about 3/4 tea cup of batter on the fry pan, do not spreed.

  7. cook till bubbled form on surface and sprinkle on little butter or ghee and turn the pan cake and cook till brown.

  8. Serve hot with generously applied honey, butter, or butter and jam, or butter and jam, or butter and chocolate sauce, or butter and mapple syrup.
