1/4 cup carrot
1/2 potato, shredded
1/2 cup cabbage
1 finely chopped onion
1/4 cup finely chopped capsicum
1/4 cup finely chopped carrot
1/4 cup finely chopped coriander leaves
1 green chilli, finely chopped
1 cup gram flour
2 teaspoon rice flour
salt to taste
3/4 teaspoon ginger paste
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
oil for deep frying
In a large bowl mix the onion, cabbage, potato, capsicum, carrot, green chiles and coriander leaves well.
Add the gram flour, rice flour and ginger garlic paste.
Add salt to taste and 1/2 teaspoon turmeric.
Mix well. Do not add any extra water as water from veggies are enough.
Add little water, enough to make the batter. Don't add more water, just add as needed to bend the mixture.
Heat oil over medium flame in a deep frying pan Drop small sized balls of the mixture into the hot oil.
Fry until golden brown and crisp, stir occasionally.
Remove them from the oil and transfer them to a plate lined with paper napkin to remove the excess oil Veg pakoras are ready for serving.
